ok, so some my friends
would not believe me that
mars flashes
red and blue because when i saw mars
tonight they would only say it was
airplane. and that was what they were stickin' with, no matter what i say, so.... here we go...
{http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/1999/ast07jun99_1/} this website basically says that
mars and a star named
spica sort of flash off of each other. the pic below show mars
(top) and spica
(below) flashing. obvioulsy, this shows spica flashing, but trust me mars does too. it isn't flashing red and blue because it is a
black/white moving pic. also, notice that
{.nasa..gov} gov stands for government and is mainly
trustorthy, while .com, basically anybody could be posting.
(my friends and i were discussing that site could have been bogus, but as you can see odds are that it's not.
)
also, since they were
insisting on mars being an airplane, i want to
put out there that we were looking at mars for like
5 minutes and it was in the
same spot the whole time! they claimed it was moving, but
if it was it would have been
long gone.
k, so i know this is an
hp blog, but my i don't have any other blogs at the moment, so just pretend that this is like an
astronomy lesson from
professor sinistra or a
divination lesson from
firenze.
(centaurs were always
trustworthy with their
planets, pro. trelawney, well ummm.... you can figure her out....
[don't get me wrong, she's
awesome, just not with divination, well....
most of the time.
])
now i am going to
go to bed and
read and
rest. sorry if i've
bored you out of your mind, i just had to get this
out of my system. well
thanks for reading!
♥, Ginny
p.s. i feel so bad for
scientists like
galileo and
alfred wegener because nobody ever believed them until after they were dead. it must have been
super frustrating. but as for this
planetary problem between me and my friends, i hope they
believe me now.
:D
